I have built my home in the hollows of your spine.
I used your blood to paint my walls,
your bones to make my bridal bed.
I loved you to ruin, I sung my vows to your corpse at the alter.
We were sweet once, honey-kissed children with sugar-kissed lips.
You wove spring into my hair once,
and everything in between us was golden,
and everything in between us was sunlight.
But it was the scent of her hair on your skin that set my teeth on edge.
It was the perfume of her lips on your throat that made my fingers itch.
I used your heart in my hearth to keep me warm,
I crawled to it in the darkest of winter,
Your bride became death.
I loved you to ruin, and ruin loved me back.
Me to other people: I try to shower at least once every other day, i enjoy hygiene, i drink so much water!!! water is like the water of the earth!!! working out is so fun!!! i enjoy eating a salad with dinner and sometimes spring for dessert afterwards if i think ive earned it ;)
Me for real: *hasnt washed hair in 2 weeks and just sits and sobs in the shower* *mouth bleeds constantly* *blacks out daily due to dehydration* *is out of breath after standing up* *peels my own skin off* *slams my own hand in a door if i make a minor mistake* *literally feels like dying if i dont get attention from my only 2 friends* *lives off of only junk food*
one of my coworkers used to work at hollister and she was telling me abt their dress code the other day and it simultaneously sounds made up but isn’t surprising
some highlights:
When Pretoria Girls High School in Pretoria, South Africa, put restrictions on how women could wear their hair, they probably didn’t expect this response. But the students are not taking these covert racial tactics lightly.
Boys and girls alike, including 13-year-old Zulaikha, are taking a stand with protests, demonstrations and a petition with more than 18,000 signatures. But it’s not just the dress code they’re fighting, students also claim the school restricts their language.

How the fuck do you say afros are untidy? This school is in AFRICA ARE YOU FUCKIN SERIOUS?
I hosted a vampire tea party and attended a ghost opera~
Omg your style is perfection. Love the outfit, hair, make up and eyes. 😘❤️👍
if you want a nice body, go get it. if you want to become a lawyer, study your ass off. if you want nice hair, pick a style and get it done. stop being afraid and motivate yourself. find yourself. find your happiness, because it’s out there waiting for you.

Chronic illness isn’t a reason you can’t have these things. You can still do anything you want with chronic illness. It may take you longer, but if you have healthy coping methods then you can make it through. Stop using illness as a reason you can’t. This encouragement of this defeated attitude about everything is so toxic for young people who are already discouraged about so much. I don’t care who you are, if you want something like this, go for it and do you very best!!! Don’t ever feel bad about the result because you did it anyway! And that’s something you should be proud of :)
Do you just regularly check on rad fem blogs that have previously interacted with you?

I wouldn’t call it regularly, just when I’m bored. Do you regularly post negative shit on positive posts, blatantly ignoring the fucking text option?
Still weird lol

Chronic Illness isn’t an excuse to not try. It may take longer, but it’s still very much achievable.
Get the fuck off this positive post, with your negative and destructive attitude. There are young people looking at this, and we need to stop telling people that having problems MAGICALLY means they are powerless.
Hi, I have fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, severe interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome, hypersomnia, chronic uveitis (swollen eyes with frequently impaired vision) pelvic floor dysfunction, ankylosing spondylitis (an autoimmune condition), bursitis, arthritis, severe OCD, bipolar II and social anxiety. Doing things like taking a shower and preparing food are really difficult for me, and if I have to leave the house for something I’m in tears by the end of the day and can’t do anything except spend the next few days in bed because I’m exhausted. Lately I haven’t even been able to spend much time on Tumblr, as evidenced by my blog. I’d appreciate you not telling me what I can achieve in a condescending way and assume I haven’t ever tried to accomplish anything.
There are loads of kids with chronic illness who are making themselves signicantly sicker because they’re trying to do things that their body can’t handle and actually need to know that it’s not a character flaw to have to give up on certain goals for their own health, even if it’s temporary. The only “kids” seeing my post are the teenagers that follow me (or people like you looking through the noted for people to fight), all of whom know I have chronic illness and many of whom suffer from it themselves.
It has nothing to do with magic dude, and I’m allowed to whine about chronic illness fucking my entire life up. Funny enough, I did have loads of aspirations and a job I loved before this.
